Jim D. Gazaway, Sr., 64, of Edmond, OK, passed away on March 2, 2009 in Edmond, OK. He was born on June 13, 1944 to Harold and Thelma Gazaway in Goodnight, OK. Jim was a Cornwell Tool Dealer in the OKC area. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, his horses, and fishing. He married Phyllis on November 19, 1970 in Gainesville, TX. He is survived by his wife Phyllis his children Jim Gazaway, Jr. and wife Mitzi daughter Staci Frazee and husband Guy stepsons Guy Smith and Wayne Smith grandchildren Kyle, Garrett and Shelby Frazee brothers WL Gazaway, Bill Gazaway and wife Joyce and sister Linda Allen and husband Eli. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers contribution can be made to the American Cancer Society . Services are under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home Edmond, OK.
