Not considered 'popular' in high school, I was eager to graduate and move on to 'higher' learning at the university level where it seemed less complicated and easier to excel among a student body of greater diversity. I assume this might have been the case with many fellow classmates of the 1960's in the United States. The world changed dramatically during the last half of the twentieth century. I hope we all are growing still, throughout the maturing years in the decades to come.
