Janet Eileen Mullendore Key, 56, was a cook and loved trying new recipes. She
enjoyed scuba diving and collecting unusual pottery from her trips to Mexico and Central America.
She died Monday, Dec. 11, 2000. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the First Presbyterian Church in Stillwater with Dr. Gordon Edwards officiating.
She was born May 14, 1944, to Fred and Thelma Ferguson Mullendore of
Stillwater and attended public schools in Stillwater. She graduated from OSU
with a B.S. degree in nutrition.
Janet married F. David Key and settled in the Oklahoma City area in 1970 and
began working for the OU Health Sciences Center (now the Oklahoma Medical
Research Foundation). She retired in 1998.
She was predeceased by her father, and her sister, Karen Kay Mullendore.
Survivors include her mother of Stillwater, and her aunts, Eileen Ferguson
Johnson of Ryan, Mary Lowry of Pawhuska, Ruth Ross of St. Louis, Mo., and Jo
Ann Halley of Stillwater, Also, cousins Terry Johnson of Ryan, Lynda Trow of Wayzata, Minn., Mary Ellen Smith of Barcelona Spain, Mike and Tim Ross of Minneapolis, Minn., and Lynda 
and Rick Halley of Stillwater.
Memorials may be made to the donor's charity of choice.
