Jimmie Darrell Wilson, 79, of Hillsboro, Missouri, passed away, April 21, 2023 in St. Louis, MO. He was born March 19, 1944 in Stillwater, OK, son of the late Hewlett Wilson and Etta Mae Wilson. Jimmie served our country in the United States Army from 1962 - 1965, upon returning Jimmie worked as a Journeyman Mechanic for Chrysler. In his free time, he enjoyed collecting and working on antique clocks. Jimmie is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Wilson of Hillsboro, MO, son, Brett (Tanya) Wilson of Ava, IL, daughter, Kelly (Pat) Smith of Red Bud, IL, step-son, Steven Shemonic of DeSoto, MO, 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, along with numerous family members and dear friends. Along with his parents, Jimmie was preceded in death by his brothers, Duke Wilson, and Bud Wilson, and sister, Norma Williamson. Services will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home, DeSoto, Missouri.
